Montenegro, Kingdom. A Commemorative Medal "For Valour" 1862 Auction Archive likely assembled by a veteran(Spomen medalja "za junatvo" 1862). Instituted in 1862. In silver, measuring 31 mm (w) x 39. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral loop suspension, edge nicks, contact marks, surface wear, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, well worn and remains fine. Footnote: The Commemorative Medal "for Valour" was created by Prince Nicholas I in 1862 and awarded for "acts of heroism in the 1861 1862 campaign against the Ottoman Empire.
