Eggers, giving thanks for receiving a treaty about stenography and its usefulness for the military, written January 11th, 1869, consisting of a page of paper folded in half along the portrait axis, with handwritten writing, measuring 224 mm (w) x 284 mm (l), as presented, with a tear along the fold nearly separating the page, but without other folds, or major staining of any kind, in overall near very fine
