This cap is a very nice example of an early pattern German WWII DRKB EM NCO Schirmmtze (visor cap), in very good condition. We estimate that it was made during 1933 1938, before it was merged with the Soldatenbund (Registered Soldiers League) to form the NS RKB. It features dark navy wool construction and a traditional high forward crown, and the insignia are gold, probably for Navy service. The cap band is a lovely
