The backsides show stains to the paper in the corners but no tears and the fronts are in excellent condition

one can glimpse a bit of blue background peeking through

Reddish Stained Carved Folk Art Cat sloping lid Image size is 4 5/8I really love the face on this cat, from strong brow to proud nose to deeply carved long whiskers adding up to a sense that this cat is rather staring one down and clearly has the upper hand! I don't know its origins and while it has some age I am not sure especially old, but it has a lot of character, presence and very cat like attitude! Substantial at 5 1 2" tall x 5 1 8" l x 2 1 4" w. Very good condition, with a reddish stain.
