This is a gorgeous pair of flasks from the Civil War era, one a brass powder flask engraved with two names, and the other a leather shot flask. The powder flask measures 6 tall and is engraved S. A. HATHAWAY on one side, and J. C. BICE 1912 on the other, so this was likely passed down through generations and reused when kids were being taught to shoot. There is a depiction of a hunter with his dog on both
