Sweet Old Lock Shaped Key Minder with (Traces of) Embroidery on Velvet Face building 19th century I would guessI believe this super sweet lock shaped wooden key holder dates to the very late 19th or very early 20th century, with the velvet face reminding me of old pin cushions I've seen. The old gold paint has very much mellowed over the years, and the floral embroidery has lost most of its stitches, with just traces left. The rich brown velvet though is in good tact and the hooks still sturdily attached, and what a lovely object to hang on the wall near the
