This is a nice example of a German Krimschild metal shield award, which has been removed from a uniform, so at present there is no fabric included. The shield is in good shape, but does show plating loss from cleaning on the front side. These are made with brass plated steel, and cleaning has worn off almost all of the brass plating on the front. The back plate is missing, however it still has all four retaining
