And based on the construction, as well as the patina, I believe late 19th or very early 20th century. I much more often come across examples of lidded baskets, with plaited cedar bark rims and bases, but this is a rarer, and very lovely open one, with fully twined base, exemplifying, as I understand it, the more labor
