This is a fine Queen Anne flintlock blunderbuss pistol with a 6" iron swamped barrel, measuring 11" in overall length. It has a wood club shaped butt, with brass mounts of trigger guard, ram rod pipe and side plate. There is a very nice and interesting inscription on the side plate: Abel Tibbs at THE SWAN WITH TWO NECKS A well known Coaching Inn found on Lad Lane, The Swan with Two Necks is mentioned in the diaries of the
