On hold C.1940 Hand-drawn Game Board on Huge Ledger Page (two of two) metal animal Sound and stable and fairlyThis page came out of an oversized British ledger dated 1895 which was originally used for maintaining the register of the National Amalgamated Society of Coopers a trade union representing coopers in the United Kingdom and Ireland. In the 1940s, however, Douglas and Nancy Webster, two school children, took hold of it and used it for their own purposes! This is one of two hand drawn game boards found in it, somewhat akin to the game of Life but
