Best is that it is in fact a bit of a failure--there are a couple of splits where the wood of the sides meets the top

which was then mounted to a wooden post that I assume was then stuck into the ground

folded at  every other cut to form diamonds within the larger diamond (or an eight pointed star

It's got a great patina and a couple of little chips in the wood that I think just add to its character

Man or woman I am not entirely sure, but a great face and great carved head of hair, and especially great, powerful arms with large hands, which will stay raised half way up or one ahead and one behind, or both up directly in front of them, as if sleep walking or preparing to deliver a a big, awkward hug.
